The Bombay Company was founded in 1975 and began as a mail order business based in New Orleans. The 'Bombay Company' name was intended to conjure up the glory days of the British Empire and the jewel of the empire, Bombay.
Staff is very unpleasant - no greeting on Jan 2,2016 when entered the premises - no one offered assistance and they had quite a few staff on the floor and behind the counter and did not say anything about having to wait for assistance just looked at you as if they were all spaced out - it was weird and there were 4 behind the counter 2 not doing anything but still offered no assistance and left you standing there waiting to pay and I was ready to walk out of the store and leave my purchases.
