This is the absolute best place for your pet! Dr. Kahty is an amazing Veterinarian who take takes the time to make sure all visitors feel welcome, pet parents and their pets. She cares for all 5 of my pets. She has helped my little critters all the way up to my American Bulldog. She cares about every aspect. Visits are always conducted with the utmost professionalism and empathy.

Where else can one get a phone call directly from the Vet - asking how our old and VERY loved schipperke is doing!!!!??? Dr Kathy is the Very Best!!! The staff are Amazing!!! Very warm and caring!!! We cottage a 5 hour drive north from Orillia for 6 months and will drive back if need be!!! They have phoned the cottage to check on "August" We getting another Scipperke pup and will bring him into the clinic to meet the Amazing Staff before we head North for 6 months. Thanks !!!

We are 41/2 hours drive North and they have (Nicole) phoned twice to see how our August is doing. Though she is not getting much better - she is an old Dog-( the love of our animal kingdom) we thank the whole lake country animal hospital staff and dr Kathy for their caring & respect
I've just recently switched my Boston Terrior's to Lake Country Hospital. Very happy with my decision. Friendly staff, clean welcoming lobby. I've had medicine my dogs are receiving explained to me & what/why they need or don't need it. Follow up calls to ensure my dogs are improving the way they should. I would recommend to all friends & family to take their pets there!
I called to get costs for a cat urinary obstruction and they told me there was no time to call around for quotes, it was a life-threatening emergency. When I called back to make an appt the answering machine stated to bring the pet in if it was an emergency. I sent my son-in-law who was told he didn't have an appointment, the vets were busy, the earliest they could see the cat was the next day. Awful uncaring response to a "life-threatening" problem. My business goes elsewhere!
My name is Kathy Marchildon, I’m a veterinarian and the owner of Lake County Animal Hospital. I cannot tell you how sorry I am that this happened. This incident was a grave miscommunication on the part of one of my staff, I have since dealt with the issue to ensure that in future, there is no confusion as to what would happen in a similar situation. I know that this doesn’t make up for what happened, but I can assure you it won’t happen again.
