Value Village

Prices are way too high for used goods and benefits for donating are decreasing-no consistency re: donation/discount policies-the staff, however are excellent

It used to be a good store, but like other reviewers have noted, the prices have gone way up! I will be supporting the other thrift stores from now on, and no more donations to Value Village. This is a for-profit organization, not charitable.

I am a valued customer at Value Village as I am there at least once a week if not more. Your prices have gone up too high. I would also bring in bags of clothing to get stamps to get 30% off. Now you've changed this to ONE GARBAGE BAG to get one stamp. You are getting this clothing free, yet you want more from us. I will not be bringing in any more bags of clothing as you just want more and more from your customers. This is very upsetting to me and others. Give a bit and you will receive more.

Love/hate

VV is a love/hate relationship. It's a convenient way to get rid of unwanted things while doing a "good deed", and you can find some real gems, but it's rare. As a buyer, it's pretty clear they don't really care about much other than turning a buck. From stickers on books (MAJOR disrespect) to price tags right on top electronics spec stickers or writing over coffee mug markings, they obviously have no clue. Pricing is also erratic; two identical items side by side are often priced differently.
