My review is not only based on when I eat there, But I also work there! just to answer some simple questions some people might be wondering: Is the fire real? Yes it is, Antica's has a wood shed that gets filled weekly and are burned in all real wood burning ovens! Do we deliver? No way too busy, But you can order by phone and pick-up, But not on busy holidays! Are the items on the menu really home made? all the sauces "both pizza and pasta" are home made as well as the gnocchi, veil, chicken and eggplant parms, pizza dough gets made and mixed every morning! The toppings are cut, sliced and diced every morning and during the day! The Restaurant is run and owned the old Italian way by old Italian family and like the owners say "its not how much food you can produce, Its how good you make it. I have lived here in Niagara Falls all my life and have gone to school for cooking. I have worked and ate in a lot of restaurants and from my 20 year experience Anticas is by far the cleanest and most efficient restaurant in Niagara falls! The service ill just leave up to you to review ;p
My daughter and I went to this restaurant after we read a review from this app. We had the meat lover pizza. It was delicious. The crust was crunchy and chewy, perfect and the toppings and sauce were fresh and yummy!
The best thing about Antica Pizzeria is a pair of wood fire ovens. And anyone would agree that wood fire can make anything taste amazing. This is the reason Piggy went to Antica a few days ago. That and the fact that it seems to be very difficult to find a place that serves decent food in Niagara Falls. The overall feel of the place is quite nice, considering that it was jam packed for dinner. The servers were very efficient and friendly. Now about the food, after all that’s why we're here: Caesar Salad is nice and creamy, but nothing special. The little piglets had pasta, which was cooked al dente, and the marinara sauce was decent, however slightly acidic\undercooked. The Neapolitan pizza with extra cheese was great . But it is a simple straight forward pizza, and not much can go wrong there. The Quattro Stagioni pizza was a disappointment however. While the dough and crust of the pizza had the full flavor that the fire oven provided and were a real treat, the same cannot be said for the toppings. The toppings were cheap and tasteless. The ham had little flavor and was diced rather than shaved, which gave it a cheap takeout pizza feel. The mushrooms (white button) were too chunky and thick sliced, so they were watery and undercooked, and flavorless. The artichokes were nothing special probably came out of a can, but I'm not too fussy about that. Finally instead of olives I had 3-4 anchovies on top of my cheese. Come on now! Piggy loves anchovies, so please share the love, and pair them up with some beautiful olives for Italy's sake! While you are at it , toss in a handful of capers. This is supposed to be a deluxe pizza after all, don't waste the wood fire with mediocre ingredients! So if you do go to Antica, please tell them what you think of the toppings on your pizza. Or if you don't want to be disappointed, go for the Margherita. I have to say that they do make a good cup of espresso and their tiramisu, although not made by them (It comes in from a place in GTA I was told), is better than most places around here.
Lovely staff, great atmosphere, amazing food and also very affordable. I'm slightly biased as I had my first date with my boyfriend of 4 years here....been going back for our anniversary ever since!
It was me and my boyfriend`s anniversary. We decided we wanted pasta for dinner. We came on restaurantica to find the best in the area; we ended up here. The atmosphere was nice. The wood stove added a warm touch, although I couldn`t figure out whether the fire was real or not. The food was very good. Our salad was crunchy and fresh, Both our pastas had a very light yet flavourful homestyle sauce. The bread was delicious. The prices were fair for what you receive. Portions a good size. We were not left hungry, yet not too full. Before coming, we looked at the reviews. We were hoping for the best, but prepared for the worst in terms of service. The service was exactly what we had read online - awful. I don`t believe the waitress ever told us her name. She did not serve us our food, someone else did. Our refills were rare, if at all. When it came time for our bill, we had to ask a different waitress to fetch ours from the back room where we could clearly see her socializing with her fellow coworkers. Still a good meal nonetheless.

Victoria Avenue hosts one of the Falls’ most beloved pizzerias and Italian eateries that’s perfect for the grown-up fam and toddlers alike. The sprawling space hosts three dining areas and can comfortably host large parties. Choose from authentic pasta dishes like gnocchi della casa (homemade tomato sauce and mozzarella) and veal parmigiana accompanied by spaghetti, or pizzas that run the full gamut – from margherita to the spicy Siciliana (accompanied by anchovies, black olives, hot peppers and Sicilian sausage).
