The Volunteer Action Centre’s mission is to build and develop community capacity for volunteerism by engaging everyone so they see they can make a difference, supporting the development of volunteer opportunities, sharing information and resources, reflecting back the difference that volunteers make, and building partnerships. Our vision is of a community where everyone is inspired and equipped to make a difference. We place great value on encouraging involvement, working collaboratively, learning and growth, inclusivity, and accountability. These values are the foundation for our programs and partnerships. The Volunteer Action Centre’s membership includes over 150 charitable & not-for-profit organizations that involve volunteers serving Kitchener, Waterloo and the Townships of Wellesley, Wilmot, and Woolwich.
