They have turned this location into nothing more than a dive bar instead of a family oriented restaurant.

no thanks

Haven't had a single good experience at this location (the one on fairway is a bit better) my boyfriend and I went to the one on king a few saturdays ago and waited 45 mins for his coffee, it came cold, I ordered the milkshake which had foam and milkshake all over the metal cup because apparently its hard to wipe off the cup before giving it to customers. We gave up on the coffee and decided to leave, the waitress was hard to track down and never came to ask if everything was okay or give us an update on the coffee when the waitress came to give us the bill she swiftly walked by tossed it on the table and muttered "sorry about the coffee" with attitude, we then went to pay the bill and told the manager about the rude waitress and the 45 mins wait for coffee. He seemed to "not be all there" very distracted barely listening. He offered to cover the 4 dollar bill which I refused been here a few times and that was my last straw I don't recommend anyone to go here.

Horrible meal, decent service

This was, by far, the worst meal we have had in a long time. We were in town to visit the Lion Safari. We drove around downtown until we found a restaurant that looked to be family friendly. Unfortunately we stopped at Crabby Joe's. The atmosphere was decent. It seemed like a nice family restaurant. The server was fast and attentive. Everything was fine until the food arrived. We started with the spicy Caesar. It was way too spicy. I'm from Los Angeles and I can eat spicy, but there was so much spice that it made the drink enjoyable. The nachos were next. They were less than average. The toppings were on the skimpy side. I had the charbroiled chicken with a side salad, and my wife had the buffalo chicken fingers with fries. We ordered the penne with Alfredo sauce for my daughter. The portions were disappointing. With all the food we ordered, I expected to have leftovers. We could have finished everything easily if it had been edible. The chicken was dry, overcooked, and had so much Montreal Steak Seasoning on it that I almost spit it out. It was way, way too salty. I scraped off all the seasoning and it was still too salty. The salad was small, wilted, and had no flavor. The buffalo chicken fingers did not have buffalo sauce on them. It was a sweet hot wing sauce. The fries were blah. Even the child's pasta plate was way too salty. The only thing that wasn't too salty was the chocolate cake. If we would have known the area, I would have refused to pay after the first few bites and we would have left. Please save your money until you hear they have improved their food.

This place and the manager ( Chris) is a joke. Not only is the food gross, the manager is rude and very uncaring for guests. I will never go there again, i left feeling insulted as the food was dry and when brought to managers attention, i was offered nothing, not even a hope you come back again, and our server, well she was to busy trying to look pretty.... cover up girls no one wants to see what you own.. or in this case I guess its what crabby joe's owns as this is your place of bussiness and they allow this.

Enjoy this location!!

I visit this location on a regular basis since I live in the area! First time I visited this location, one of the bartenders asked my name, and remembered it the next time i visited! All of the wait staff are super friendly, and funny! This location has a lot of daily features and drink specials which me and my friends enjoy...Food has always been good, and if there is anything ever wrong or not up to my satisfaction the management and staff make sure it is dealt with so I leave satisfied. Overall great location, close to downtown core, and a good place for grill or pub type food and drinks!

I agree, horrible!

I don't understand why this place keeps opening up across town. The food is terrible, the service lacking and the place just looks dirty. My wife and I thought we would give it another shot as we were in the moods for wings - worst idea ever! We arrived and waited to be seated - no one acknowledged us even though the place wasn't busy - strike 1. Our server took take mins to take come to our table and get our drink order and didn't crack a smile the whole evening - strike 2. The food - we were already turned off, so just ordered some wings, fries and beer. Beer was great, good selection. Wings were terrible, very overcooked and dry - sauceless. That was strike 3! They're out. We will not return.

HORRIBLE!

Why is this place open? The service was horrific! A group of 7 for lunch the place wasn't even busy, all our orders screwed up, the food terrible, and we were all late going back to work for 'pub grub'? Will never go back again! Fries were stale, food took 45 mins., and the wings were soggy and tasted raw. Very poorly run - no one checked on us, service was horrific and the food was inedible. Fries were stale, food took 45 mins., and the wings were soggy and tasted raw.
