LOVE this restaurant! I live in Rockland and a friend told me about it one day and ever since I have been making the trek to Bank street because I'm always so impressed - the food is on point! I have tried all of the souvlaki platters and my favourite is the lamb - the meat is so tender and cooked to perfection. I don't usually eat seafood but their seafood souvlaki is amazing - the grilled shrimp is so tasty. Their salads are always fresh and they use a delicious dressing which I'm sure is home-made. The staff is always friendly and provide great service. If you compliment the chef or owner, they will come out and personally thank you and chat with you. Love that! The place is spotless and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend it :)
I really enjoyed the food, it was fresh tasty and the salad sauce was amazing. I would definitely go again and again. We need more places like this in the south end, instead of those big box name restaurants where the food is actually frozen microwave food...
Tasted like frozen food reheated in the microwave. Chicken was so hard and too much garlic on everything. Food became cold very quickly.Food not fresh. Will never go back and certainly not recommend.
Went there for Valentine's day, bad idea !!! always bad when you hear the sound of a microwave before being served !!!
Service was correct, the food was a bad bizarre mix of new cuisine and greek. Nothing was fresh, everything was coming from the freezer, a can or a jar. Efforts of presentation were pointless.
Food was tasteless, soggy and covered with garlic powder. The seafood was badly cooked, the chicken hard like stone. Even the potatoes were tasteless, the rice uneatable because of the garlic and the pita rubbery (maybe the microwave !!!)
Greek food should be fresh, tasty and simple. Another restaurant with hope of grande cuisine with cheap ingredient and no cooking knowledge.
After a 74$ meal for two, you leave kind of hungry, stomach sick and an strong aftertaste of being ripped-off.
Our worst greek meal ever, do not go there !
Even a bad slouvaki in a food court is better than this restaurant.
This was a nice find in the south end of Ottawa...
This was a nice find in the south end of Ottawa nestled in the Farm Boy Plaza. Great food, excellent presentation. Well priced. We will definitely return to this cozy little restaurant.
