Brutal service. I will never go back. Waitress was incredibly rude. The owner needs to know. The barflys in there are gross.

We live around the corner from here, so we visit a lot. I know there's a review on here about regulars...but there was a time when we were NOT regulars and there's a reason we kept coming back! The wings are second to none, and you can't beat the price. The service is fantastic, regardless of which girl you get. They're all friendly and efficient. My wife gets the club wrap just about every time, though we've had most things on their menu. The menu may be limited, but it's a PUB, not a restaurant. If there's one thing I wouldn't recommend, I'd say the onion rings. That said, they still seem to be a hit...just not a fan of the batter. Other than that, have at it!
I have heard many good reviews from my friends about this place so me and a couple friends decided to go to get all you can eat Wings(since it was a Wednesday) and watch the Hockey game. After eating there and taking in the overall atmosphere I must say I am not disappointed. The wings were delicious and had a perfect amount of sauce on them, not too much, but they definitely weren't stingy on how much they put on. The drinks were cold and the staff was very kind. It was pretty slow, but taking into account the play-off game was on and it was really busy that can be overlooked because of the wonderful food and pleasant staff. Anyone looking for some good wings, that are also not costly should check out the Barber Towne, I will return again.
We have our weekly one hour date here whilst our kids are taking their music lessons at Pinecone Music. Sometimes we have dinner which is always great and sometimes we just have a drink or two. When all four of our kids join us we are waited on with much attention. The pool table is used regularly by our family for a fun non-billiard type game. It's quite loud and silly. There are many places that would not entertain the idea of a family of six creating such a ruckus. Here we are welcome to just be ourselves and have fun, while enjoying dinner/snacks and drinks. AND most times the kids only drink water.
I visit the Barbertowne regularly with my spouse and I cannot speak enough of the great, friendly waitstaff that works there. Everyone makes you feel at home and the food is like home cookin, fresh and big portions. The establishment is always clean and well maintained. I recommend the barbertowne to everyone looking to have a nice meal and treated like family!!
Iwas impressed by the quality and and cost of my meal. The portion size was more than enough and I needed to take the rest home with me. The service was fun and friendly Samantha was kind and sweet . I saw that she treated every one like they were family and it showed because the pub was full of customers. What ever your doing it works . Keep up the good work and I will definatly be back!!
This place was great! I'm from out of town and the waitresses were fantastic! Jill was friendly and welcoming and we will gladly come back again in the near future!!! I will definately recommend the BARBER towne as a prime spot to go in georgetown to see great people and great food!! Thank you Jill!
I've spent many hours at the Barber Towne Pub. And I have to say that the food is phenomenal, and the service is awesome. The bar and seating areas are always packed, and service is as fast and as friendly as can be expected for such a popular spot. More often then not, I have seen customers behaving quite rudely to the staff for minor "glitches". The staff is always willing to rectify any oversites on their part. Overall, I agree, the Barber Towne is a hidden gem in Georgetown!
great food ,great beer. the waitress had inappropriot clothing on but served us well.
Funny, after reading the 2 other reviews I can see how they would both be correct. The Barber Towne Pub is a corner bar, no more and no less - if you are a regular the staff will bend over backwards to take care of you. If not, then you come right after the regulars on the priority list, better hope there are not too many of them in there. Lunch was good, Menu a little limited, and service tolerable and polite (guess i got the server on a good day, lol)
When presented to my table, It had not yet been wiped. It wouldn't have been a problem if the restaurant had been busy, but there were approx. 5 patrons inside. When the waitstaff finally arrived to take my order, I was ready to go, I ordered. A simple dinner. nothing complicated. It came out 25 minutes later, The food was good. Hot and tasty. The length of time it took to receive it was unexcusable. The waitstaff looking after me was very unpleasant to say the least. I understand being a human, that all people have bad days, but in the industry of customer service, this was not the place for this individual to be. All in all, if you're not too hungry and don't like swift polite service, then I'd say go for a meal, as I said earlier, the food was good, but if you're in a hurry, and very hungry, I'd boycott this place!!
