Mrs. Chhokar has done a wonderful job on my case. She worked every detail in preparation and fought hard in court to win a difficult fight over my divorce. I would highly recommend her services.
Do not make a mistake of going to this lawyer. You will be wasting your time/money & end up in a worst situation then you were. She is nice in the first meeting & make promises. After that few months she adds up ridiculous hours that she spent on the file, she is not accurate & unfair billing. She does not provide the services a client needs. She is rude, unprofessional and disorganized. She has limited knowledge of the law & she does not stand up for her clients. I do not recommend this lawyer.
Worst possible service. Charged me 40+ hours for a meeting for which she came 3 hour late resulting in all prep time cost being wasted. And on top to makes this worse she charged me for the time she was late too... simple horrible, no other word can describe. I obviously didn't pay for service which didn't benefit me and now because she knows she cannot take me to court because she cannot defend herself she has passed me to a collection company.
This lawyer is disorganized and does not do a good job. She makes promises she cannot keep. Her arguments are weak. I would not spend any money to retain her services. I absolutely regret the day I was introduced to her.
