Benjamin Simon began teaching the guitar at the young age of 13, where the majority of his students were actually older than he was. Both of his parents were teachers, and he was clearly destined to be an educator (even winning the “Education Award [O.E.C.T.A] and the Suzanne Grodin Music Award” at Holy Trinity Catholic High School).
