The kitchen functions with hired and volunteer help. The kitchen has one Executive director, one cook and one part-time cook - the rest are volunteers.There is a volunteer board and approximately 40 volunteers (but we always welcome more!)
I've volunteered as a member of a local service group...at Loaves and Fishes of and on for years prepping meals,,,serving meals and doing clean-up afterwards. The staff ( esp Marguerite) and volunteers are amazing.
