the best food for a pub, service is fantastic, portions are huge and not, all around a great place

Last weekend we went for a couple drinks before 10pm. We walked there and walked back. Today we went for dinner. I was told by the server “it’s 15 minutes wait”. We were seated 2 Minutes later and she said “I got in trouble for over serving you last weekend. They saw you dancing on camera. I can only serve you a couple drinks tonight”. I never ordered a single drink last time, they were ordered for me. How embarrassing and can I be cut off a week later before I even ask for a drink?

Went their on Thursday night (Mar7th/19)with golf buddies and after all the things that I had seen the food was great and large portions. |Still think maybe a little pricey but was good. Three guys had Shepards pie and all to home about half of their meal .I had beef tacos and were good Loved that the fries are home cut and cooked. Still needs something to absorb the noise. Long time pattern of the JP

Great Service and great food. Our waitress, Dara, was exceptional in a very busy pub. Will be going back and often.

Great atmosphere and great service. Always nice when the staff look like they genuinely enjoy where they work. Food was excellent and we will definitely be back.

Atmosphere, good food and friendly staff at the JP make it a favourite of ours every week. When we have the desire for pub food it's "JP on the hill" for us.
