Richmond Elevator Maintenance Ltd

The Richmond Elevator in our building has malfunctioned since the building first opened 3 years ago, and now is down once or twice a day. The company tried to blame us, saying the residents must be stupid enough to jump in the elevator and that must be why it broke, which is completely not true, and very disrespectful. We have spent so much money on service calls that have not fixed the main issue. Truly a garbage company.

Enough is enough!!! Richmond Elevator Maintance is TERRIBLE!!! My building The Max Tower A located on Beatty St in DT Vancouver was out of service for almost 2 months. Richmond Elevator Maintance said waiting for the shipping of the spare parts. We were told the ETA is 2 weeks Now it’s almost 2 months, the strata send notice that spare parts should have arrived last Friday and we’re expecting the repair to be done on today Sept 24. But again nothing happened. No show and no update!!!

I got stuck in an elevator today with no phone. Called emergency but no one picked up. I then tried pressing different floors, but none worked except the parking level. That's when someone picked up on the emergency line. Person on the other end was very rude, as if I was the one inconveniencing her. I told her I got to parking, but they should send someone to take a look. That's when she hung up on me. I am blown away.

Won't speak to anyone but my Manager ...who is the one who asked me to call in the first place ! Rude staff.
