the worst restaurant i have ever been to. Terrible food and service; very expensive.

This place is great!!!

Found this on day two of our five days here and never went anywhere else. We had a variety of meals there and everything was fabulous. Met the owner, Karen, and she told us everything that can be, is real. No factory food, boil in a bag stuff here. And we eat in alot of restaurants these days. Trust me...that is a rarity. And so is being able to order bacon and eggs at 7 at night. The staff were great and made us laugh like crazy. When we go back to Campbell River for fishing, we are going to Banners. And so should you. Good eats....

Bad cooking

the vegetarian omelet had sausage in it, the 2 skillet breakfasts had runny not fully cooked eggs (slimey) in them and the glass of milk was warm and obviously did not come out of the refrigerator. The serving staff were really nice and gave a discount, but discounts don't make up for bad cooking.

Will never visit again...

Admittedly, I do not go to Banner's very often. However, whenever I do go there it reminds me why I never want to dine there again. This review consists of my last two visits. The first of these visits I attended with my wife and father-in-law. We were placed in an out of the way corner and literally forgotten for over 25 minutes. When we were served, they had their burgers and sides of fries and onion rings. Both of their sides were hard and solid all the way through. My spaghetti was obviously microwaved from leftovers and contained a half inch of water on the bottom of the bowl it was served in. After complaining, we were given a 10% discount on our meal, which I do not believe was enough considering our experience. We went to Banner's for a second visit thinking that maybe we just had a singled out bad experience. This time, I had ordered the chili, which was to be served with cheese and sour cream on top. The chili was obviously microwaved with a Kraft cheese single on top and was served to me without the sour cream. After telling the waitress, she said she would "bring it out immediately" We both finished the meals and she never returned. I now flat out refuse to eat at Banner's even when someone else is paying.
