Since 2005, Calgary based Scrub Zero have been the experts at using dry ice blasting technology in commercial and industrial environments. COR certified, mobile onsite service, focusing on Calgary and Southern Alberta. With results somewhere in between power washing and sandblasting, dry ice blasting involves spraying particles of dry ice at high pressure. Mainly used for cleaning and/or removing a material from a surface, dry ice blasting is especially used in environments where these other methods cannot be utilized. The process is free of water and unlike sandblasting, the dry ice pellets disappear upon contact. Only the removed material is left to be swept or vacuumed up. Safe to use in electrical and food processing environments, will not damage windows, wiring or ducting.
