Farrow comes to you by the makers of Three Boars Eatery. It’s a small little coffee and sandwich shop right on 109 Street. They always have a vegetarian featured sandwich. It’s by far one of my favourite place to grab a quick bite to eat! One of my favourite things about this place is that their sandwiches change quite often! Check out their Instagram for what’s being served.
A little hole in the wall shop on 109 Street in Edmonton’s Garneau neighbourhood, Farrow serves up mind-blowingly awesome gourmet sandwiches (and they make pretty fabulous cookies, too). Their four sandwich selections rotate and generally run for a couple days at a time, but are always creative (and entertainingly named) and are sure to cause serious cravings. Check out Farrow’s Instagram feed for current offerings.
Their sandwiches are like nothing I’ve had before. They use an interesting mix of ingredients that bring out different flavours and textures in food. Their Keep Calm & Curry On sandwich features turkey, curry, Brie, spinach, bacon mayo, dry noodles (for that crunch factor) and apricot jam. The sandwich I adore the most is the Grick Middle – bacon, tomato jam, smoked cheddar, rosemary aioli and arugula, topped off with a beautiful fried egg. Don’t forget to try some of their daily treats, like the bourbon pecan chocolate chip cookies, sugar beer cookies, and eggnog and rum Rice Krispie squares.
