They made me laugh today, great service thank you ??
I have always been treated very well with respect & courtesy .
absolutely horrid service for over a month no one would reply to a simple request for the original sign card when the account was opened , even the office of the president in Ontario couldn't get them to reply at Ranchlands branch .
Worst overall banking experience I've ever had. We are on our fifth account manager in two years. They must treat they're staff terribly, they never seem to stay for more than six months at a time which means that everytime some new gets the account, they have no idea what's going on with it. The old account manager 'forgot' to send in my request for a home appraisal for six weeks until I reminded her many times. Then after the appraisal, she didn't inform me of the result until again asking many times and eventually just showing up, nor did she call afterward to set up a time to sign the papers... so the appraisal expired. The bank also didn't inform us that we got another new account manager, who now has to go through all this again, and apparently in addition to pay stubs at a long term job, they also now require a letter of employment. We are thoroughly disappointed, and sick of wasting our time. We are trying to bring a substantially sized loan from another bank to Scotia, but it seems they really just don't need our business. If our mortgage wasn't with them for another two years, we would undoubtedly be cutting ties at this point and going to a new bank. The customer service is functionally non-existent, and the hours are brutal.
I transfered from another bank 6 years ago and have always been amazed at the service I get from the Ranchlands Scotiabank staff. Always smiling and helpful.
